What you learn, remembered.

Linguistix turns the words, grammar and moments from real lessons into a personal learning path — captured in seconds, organised clearly, and practised when your memory needs them.

One calm learning loop

From lesson note to long-term memory.

No course-shaped busywork. Linguistix starts with what you actually encountered and carries it through one understandable loop.

Say what you learned.

Type a word, paste a list, or ask for a grammar topic. Linguistix recognises the intent and keeps uncertain interpretations reviewable.

See where it belongs.

My Words, grammar, practice topics and lesson sources stay distinct, searchable and connected to the context where you met them.

03 / REMEMBER

Practise at the right time.

Short sessions combine due reviews, new material and weak spots. FSRS schedules the next encounter from memory evidence, not streak pressure.

Capture what you learned

The lesson does not disappear when class ends.

Save a single word, a vocabulary list, a grammar point or text from a photo while the context is still fresh. Linguistix keeps it attached to the source and section where you found it, then prepares it for review.

A library that knows the difference

Words, rules and sources each get the space they need.

The Library is not a single endless card dump. It brings five connected views together so you can move from a word to its meaning, pronunciation, grammar, practice topic and original learning source.

Practice that remembers

Today’s session has a reason for every card.

Linguistix blends what is due, what is new and what needs attention into short sessions. FSRS schedules the next review from recall evidence, while hints, explanations and retyping make a difficult answer useful without pretending it was correct.

Due reviews stay visibleNo mystery queue: the session mix distinguishes scheduled reviews, new material and focused remediation.

Hints climb graduallyAsk for the rule, a targeted clue or a letter reveal; assistance remains separate from grading.
Wrong answers teach, then returnSee a reviewed explanation, retype the answer and let the scheduler bring the weak component back honestly.

Playground

Games made from words you have actually met.

Fresco turns familiar vocabulary into a calm restoration game: use the support-language meaning to uncover five target-language words and reveal the painting underneath. Play solo or send the same board as a sealed challenge.

No surprise curriculum. Production games draw targets only from practised material.
No timer pressure. Fresco gives eight brushes per word and lets the board breathe.
Mistakes lead somewhere useful. A slipped word can point back to its library card or a focused practice suggestion.
Play never rewrites study evidence. Wins stay fun; your practice schedule remains authoritative.

The Journal keeps sessions, captures, milestones and game moments understandable. Checkpoints separate reading, listening, writing, grammar/vocabulary and speaking evidence rather than flattening everything into one impressive-looking number.

v1.0.6 11 Aug 2026
Fixed
  • Signing in now survives replacing Linguistix with an update. The session is stored in the app's stable macOS Keychain access group and migrated from the older per-install entry, so Check for Updates no longer returns you to the sign-in screen after the new version opens. If a very old copy was signed by a different developer team, macOS may require one final sign-in; later updates will keep that session.
Safety
  • The release and installer checks now require every update to carry exactly the Keychain access group used for persistent sessions. A build missing that entitlement, using another group or adding an unexpected group is refused before it can replace the installed app.
Changes
  • This is an app-only patch (build 58): it ships no new learning content and reuses the verified snapshot already shipped in 1.0.5, including its disclosed gap that English inflected forms are not yet included.

Keep the next thing you learn.
