Changelog

Every update ever shipped to CursorConfine — newest first.

v1.0.2 2 Jun 2026
Improved
  • The app is now signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens with a normal double-click — no Gatekeeper warning and no trip through System Settings → Privacy & Security to click “Open Anyway”.
v1.0.1 2 Jun 2026
Fixed
  • Windowed games now get an outside-click shield so accidental second-monitor clicks do not defocus the game.
  • Cmd-Tab and Alt-Tab are treated as intentional app switches, releasing the shield until the game is frontmost again.
  • Returning to League after an app switch now restores the click shield reliably, even when macOS reports a new window ID.
Improved
  • Mouse down/up handling now blocks full outside-click sequences instead of only clamping pointer movement.
  • The event tap now runs at the HID boundary for earlier click interception.
v1.0.0 24 May 2026
Added
  • First public release — confine the cursor to a specific window, the active window, a custom region, or a whole display.
  • Auto-release on focus loss, and auto-re-engage the moment the game is frontmost again.
  • Discord-style window picker with live thumbnails.
  • Customisable global hotkeys (toggle / pick / panic) and a hold-to-release modifier.
  • Per-app profiles that auto-engage on app focus.
  • Dim + border overlays, sounds, notifications, launch-at-login, and an adaptive light/dark Dock icon.
